Family Spotlight

Tiffany and her daughter, 4 year old Courtnie, became homeless when Tiffany’s back problems became so severe, she could no longer work.  Unable to pay the rent, she and Courtnie were evicted.  After spending several months at Family Promise of Moore County, they moved into an apartment at the Southern Pines Housing Authority.  Courtnie is attending Head Start in Southern Pines and is doing really well.  She is working hard so she will be well prepared to enter kindergarten in the fall.  Courtnie is also taking dance at Dorie’s Dance Studio.  She is practicing her dance steps so she will be ready for her dance recital in May.   She is going to be a penguin! 

Tiffany continues to struggle with her back problems, however, she maintains a bright outlook.  Tiffany recently received a vehicle from the Wheels to Work program.   She is so happy to be totally independent and no longer has to rely on other people for rides.
