The Heart of Our Organization

The heart & soul of the Family Promise of Moore County consists of our more then 20 congregations who've found it in their hearts to be moved by the quote from Isaiah 58:6 "Is this not the fast that I choose?... Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and to bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked to cover him; and not hide yourself from your own flesh?"

Thank you so much for your participation, patience, and patronage. God Bless
.

Host congregations open the doors of their facilities for one week, four to five times per year, to homeless families. Under the direction of the FPMC director, they provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as transportation to and from the Day Center. Congregation volunteers stay with the families through their time at the facility to provide support and ensure that their stay proceeds smoothly.
